Aoki kickz

What's good people !

It's again been a while since I posted something, sorry for that. But  gotta set my priorities you know.

Monday the 9th of April I went to Steve Aoki's Wonderland tour in Ghent and it was CRAZY ! He knows how to throw a party to say the least ! If you don't know who Steve Aoki is, he's an electro/house musician, producer and founder of Dim Mak Records. Check this out ;) !

A well known name in the electro/house music world, now he released his own album 'Wonderland'. He really has a unique sound, it's not like any regular house and electro. He gives a mix of all kinds of music styles and that transforms into great party music :D !

In Ghent I noticed Steve was wearing some real nice 'kickz'. He was wearing the Adidas Jeremy Scott Wings US edition shoes. These are some 'eye-popping' shoes, as I said in older blogposts Jeremy Scott is the designer at Adidas who makes sneakers that you think come out of dreams reality ^^.

All 'Stars' On Your Feet !

What's good everyone ?

I know it's like ages ago since I posted, but now I will start posting again frequently so stay tuned.

It’s almost starting to feel like Christmas in February, after all the crazy sneaker releases during the holidays. But all real sneakerheads and basketball fans know that Nike releases loads of sneakers for the NBA All-Star Weekend 2012 in Orlando. In this big event all of the All-Stars will be wearing the newest and freshest sneakers on the court just to deliver a spectacular game.  The Nike Air Foamposite One 'Galaxy' are an example but they're ofcourse plenty more. I just wanted to feature the foamposites because for a while now I'm thinking of getting a pair of these 'bright sweet sneaks' ^^.

The foamposites are known in loads of different colors, but this 'Galaxy' version has a special look to it. They gave them an 'outerspace' look just like a milkyway on your feet. They call it a supernova-emblazoned look, now that's a mouthful! ^^

These are expected to be released in Nike stores February 23rd, so be prepared!

What's up people?


It may not be anything resembling a sneaker, but this is a real nice creation with some serious craftwork. 
Taking a bunch of adidas x Star Wars Superskate Mids, designer Freehand Profit has stitched up this Stormtrooper helmet which forms part of the Star Wars Remix project. Totally wearable and made with Jedi like devotion it's available now on eBay. These Adidas Superskates are real nice and original looking all white with that touch of colour on the inside.

3. A pair of 'high profile' extra special sneakers

Sometimes you just want to dress 'loud' to really stand out in the crowd. A pair of kickz that you dress from the ground up, you start with the sneakers and match your clothes with them :p. When it comes to this category of sneakers, it's all about personal preference of colour, brand, shape. But don't forget in this category nothing is strange and too extreme !! ^^

For example: Jordan's, Adidas Jeremy Scott, Nike Dunks, Supra

4. Some simple clean 'all black' sneakers

This is a pair of sneakers you need for wearing when you go out for a formal event, or like when you hit the club for the night. A clean black 'sober' sneaker that go with anything and to look fly in the club. This can be a low-top or high-top sneaker and it can have a lil' accent of another colour in it, but don't forget: BLACK!^^

Shopping Haul !

What's popping,

I've been doing some sneaker shopping before the new school year will be starting for me. So I decided to show you the latest sneakers I bought. The new season is about to start ;)!

A pair of Osiris Rhyme Remix High top shoes with a furry inside and a Orange/Black/Grey colourpattern. These are some real big 'guns', ideal to keep my feet warm in the winter, because it can get cold. Like subzero and I like to keep myself warm, specially my feet :p. These also came with grey laces if you wanna switch up the orange.

Vans Chukka low in a bright royal blue colourtone, with red soles and also has light grey laces to change the look. This is a sneaker fully made from suede (Great tip for suede sneakers: Spray your shoes once a year with a waterproof shoe spray and let them dry for a day, this will protect the suede from rain and moist.). This is a pair of kickz that you don't really see often in a low model most common is the chukka boot. This is just like a pair of vans I can slip on with any pair of jeans and create an outfit from the bottom up to match the kickz. ^^

Supra Bullet suede sneakers Black/Purple/green colourpattern, also comes with black laces if you wanna go 'All-Black'. This is a 'low-key' pair of kickz that can actually also be 'high profile'. I actually love the sole of these shoes it's a total surprise when you see it for the first time, because you think where's the green on this sneaker and then you're like 'WOooow, allright!' :D.

Oooh yes it are some J's. Air Jordan 3 Retro Blue colour Cement Pattern, this is actually I think my favourite Jordan series the '3's'. The shape and the comfort this sneaker gives you is fenomenal, to say the least !! I always love to have a new pair of Jordan's, it's just everything I want in a sneaker! The Stealth and the all-black colourpack are next on my wishlist :p.

This pair of High Nike Dunks I saw and immediately wanted them. They're purple and white leather and just so simple but 'fly' :D. I know I have a lot of purple here, but you have to know that's like one of my favorite colours. Just saying you can never go wrong with a piar of 'Dunks'. ^^

The Future has arrived !

What's happening,

Everybody remember back to the future, well that was 1985. Now Nike released the Nike 'MAG' sneaker, the future of kickz is presented here. This is the sneaker like the one in the BTTF movie, and they even say by 2015 they will have a'self lacing' sneaker, How about that one ! These Sneakers are 'Featherlight' and they can light up for 4 hours non-stop with one charge.

These Nike kickz are very exclusive they only will produce 1500 pairs so they're being auctioned daily. All of the proceeds is going to the Michael J. Fox foundation to help people around the world to battle Parkinson's
Bidding is going crazy, one of the highest bids was $75.000. Celebrities like Tinie Tempah also won auctions over the shoes. 

So these sneakers will probably be reserved for the rich and famous, but one day they will go into mass production. Let's hope !

A Random Runny Sunny Day

What's up people,

Today I was cruisin a bit around in Bruges and enjoyed the company of a really good friend of mine, she has a fashion blog called Fashion O'Clock. (check it out)

I was rocking just my everyday look with my Adidas kickz and just wanted to show you guys ;). I was rocking my Adidas 'Smart One's' today a real easy to wear all day sneaker. An easy and comfortable sneaker for wearing in the city !
